It’s not secret that I love green smoothies. I don’t love vegetables so hiding them in a smoothie is my favorite way to eat them. This chocolate cherry smoothie is totally delicious and totally includes an entire serving of greens!

Generally my green smoothies are, well, green. But as I was reading through Superfood Green Smoothies: 30 Delicious + Easy Recipes by Kate Kordsmeier, I had a mind blowing moment. Green smoothies can be other colors too!
I would say it was life changing, but that’s not totally true. It was breakfast changing though! Since that point I’ve taken her recipe and tweaked it based on the ingredients I have on hand.
If you are also a green smoothie fan, but sometimes end up stuck in a rut drinking the same old smoothies over and over, you totally need to check out Kate’s book.
